Blooming...

With a cat it's impossible to keep flowers. She even likes them so much that she needs to eat them, throw the vase or sniff and play. Many given flowers ended very high in the air or on forbidden places. How happy I am that my orchid, a Phalaenopsis, is save in the kitchen. A given plant from a friend, and Wodan has not discovered its beautiful white flowers yet. But the plant has Wodan's marks on one leaf, it shows a cartel mark made by sharp teeth.

With a mother who talks with her plants every day, and with that provides them with needed oxygen, I think we should care deeply for our breathing others nearby. How happy I am that my white orchid has 14 stunning flowers now, and two who will sprout in a few days or so. With enough plants in my house, but only one with showing flowers, I'm so proud. My friend Doris posted her orchid on her lifeblog the other day, here is mine.

I totally failed in my attempt to photograph Wodan with my orchid. I had to use catcandy, and even with those it was impossible. Poor Wodan had to wait too long to get her sweets...

The fake orchid on the purple wall is my picture frame in my bedroom. If you can't have real fake it I thought when buying it. To own a real orchid is not what I could have believed infront. Wodan has suprised me big time!
